CP502440 Lithium-Manganese Dioxide (Li-MnO₂) pouch battery.
The CP502440 battery offers a rated capacity of 1200mAh and a nominal voltage of 3.0V. It is ideally suited for Sensoterra's ultra-low-power design, which leverages the LoRaWAN network for efficient data transmission. With its extremely low self-discharge rate (less than 2% per year at 20°C), this battery chemistry enables a sensor lifespan of 5 to 10 years, depending on usage. Its ability to deliver high pulse currents also ensures the sensor can reliably transmit data back to the cloud at regular intervals.
